What is ADHD? Symptoms, Care Options, and More

While it is quite common for many people to have bouts of hyperactivity or impulsiveness, and troubles paying attention and focusing, kids and adults struggling with ADHD have symptoms and problems associated with their ADHD that are more severe, occur more often, and frequently interfere with their functions and performance at school, work, and with other daily activities.

Plagiocephaly

Plagiocephaly is the flattening of a baby’s head on one side of the head or the whole back of the head.  This develops when an infant’s soft skull becomes flattened in a specific area. It can get worse if a baby sleeps in the same position most of the time or because of mobility challenges with the neck muscles that result in a head-turning preference.  Plagiocephaly is sometimes called “flat head syndrome.”

What Is The Vagus Nerve?

The Vagus Nerve is one of the longest, most intricate, and most important nerves in the entire body. It’s long been given the nickname “wandering nerve” because it originates from the brainstem and upper neck area and makes its way all the way down into the thorax to regulate and control vital functions such as breathing, heart rate, and digestion.

Chronic Ear Infections

A chronic ear infection is a recurring buildup of fluids, inflammation, and swelling that plugs the eustachian tube in the middle ear, causing repeated pressure and pain.

They Do NOT Grow Out Of It

If you have been up all night with your child who is experiencing colic, chronic constipation, reflux, or ear infection after ear infection, it’s essential to know that these issues will not simply go away on their own. If your child is struggling with tons of tantrums, meltdowns, developmental delays, and difficulty sleeping, don’t let anyone tell you that it’s just a phase.
