Billy’s Journey to Better Health: A Story of Reflux, Breathing Issues, and Chiropractic Care
The Initial Challenges
Billy was born with significant reflux, a tongue tie (which was revised early on), and laryngomalacia, a breathing disorder. Doctors advised waiting for his system to mature, but Billy’s reflux caused him to spit up excessively, and he was smaller than other babies his age. It was difficult for his parents to watch him scream and cry, do endless laundry, and feel like they weren’t doing enough.
A Recommendation and a Ray of Hope
Dr. Jenn at @vividwomenshealth recommended Pax Chiropractic. When Billy was about 2 months old, they started going to Pax. The parents felt overwhelmed and just wanted their baby to be okay.
The Pax Experience
Upon walking into Pax, Dr. Gabrielle and Dr. Trey were kind and gentle. They listened to Billy’s story and made them feel comfortable. Billy, who often cried, would calm during adjustments. Dr. Trey even called him “one of the chillest babies he’s ever worked with,” which was not the case at home.
Progress and Positive Changes
Through gentle adjustments, Billy showed much progress. The parents also appreciated the post-partum care and support offered to the new mom.
A Happy and Healthy Baby
Now, at 8 months old, Billy is a happy, healthy, and growing baby. His body, especially his neck and shoulders, has significantly less tension. He is gaining weight at a better pace, and his reflux episodes are less frequent. He has also outgrown his laryngomalacia.

The parents are grateful to Dr. Gabrielle and Dr. Trey for their help with Billy and for the amazing space they’ve created at Pax. They hope that by sharing this story, other families facing similar challenges can find relief and know that it does get better.
